Jorge Martín is competing for the MotoGP title with only four rounds left in the season, even though he is in the Prima Pramac satellite team, going up against Francesco Bagnaia from the Ducati factory team.
Cristian Gabarrini, the crew chief for the Italian, told La Gazzetta dello Sport that nothing diminishes Martín’s strong performance, but the Spanish rider has some advantages by being with Pramac and the level of support he receives:
– It’s easy to be on a factory team dressed as a satellite and have all the benefits of the factory team without the drawbacks, primarily pressure. Martín, whatever happens, will have done well. But Pramac is a factory team.
