The CFMOTO NK range of naked bikes has come a long way since it hit the market almost a decade ago. Since the brand’s partnership with KTM, the NK range, particularly the 800NK, has undergone a complete update and is now better than ever. That being said, the 800NK has been further improved with the release of the 800NK Advanced. Announced on the brand’s official website, it offers a plethora of top-of-the-line features.
CFMOTO raises the bar in terms of technology and features with the new 800NK Advanced. The standard 800NK already impresses with its large TFT screen, however, the Advanced takes it a step further. The sleek eight-inch TFT screen now has Apple Carplay and can be navigated through its touchscreen interface. It also features multimedia interaction, as well as a keyless ignition system for added convenience. In terms of performance, CFMOTO has added some refinements to make the 800NK Advanced a more capable machine. Firstly, it has a new steering damper that stabilizes the front end during strong acceleration and cornering vibrations. There is also a new quickshift, allowing you to shift gears smoothly without using the clutch. Additionally, the bike has three riding modes – Street, Sport, and Rain, as well as a convenient cruise control function for long highway trips.
The engine remains the same – the powerful LC8c derived from KTM, which takes the form of a 799 cc liquid-cooled fuel-injected twin-cylinder engine with a 285-degree crankshaft. Power output is 102.2 hp at 9,000 rpm and 81 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm. It is designed for maximum performance thanks to lightweight aluminum pistons and chrome-coated ceramic pistons.
The 800NK Advanced benefits from a fully adjustable suspension, allowing you to fine-tune performance based on your driving style, road conditions, and other factors. The 43mm inverted front forks are from KYB and feature compression, preload, and rebound damping adjustment. The same level of adjustment can also be found in the rear mono-shock equipped with a KYB link. The brakes consist of radial-mounted J.Juan calipers at the front and a single disc at the rear, all regulated by a Bosch anti-lock braking system.
In terms of pricing and availability, it seems that Australia will be the first to receive this enhanced version of the 800NK, we await official news from CFMOTO for the European and national market.
