The team that was the official Kawasaki outfit in the World Superbike Championship until this year will be replaced by BbKRT – Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team – in 2025, and the first tests will take place this Tuesday in Jerez.
The new bike has been developed in partnership with Bimota, a brand owned by Kawasaki. Despite the new colors and being a new team, key elements such as team manager Guim Roda remain in place.
The riders are the same ones who represented Kawasaki this year – Alex Lowes and Axel Bassani. Their pit crews will also continue, allowing for a focus on testing and developing the new bike.
The initial version of the bike – the KB998 – which will hit the track this Tuesday in Jerez will have black as the dominant color, complemented by some red and white details that reflect Bimota’s traditional colors.
