Benelli brought a new chapter to its adventure bike line at EICMA 2024, with the debut of the BKX 125 alongside the already revealed BKX 300. Designed for a young generation eager to explore new horizons, these bikes stand out for their lightness, versatility, and an innovative approach to design and functionality.
An adventure for everyone
The BKX series is ideal for beginners in the world of two-wheeled adventures. Light, easy to maneuver, and prepared for different terrains, the bike combines simplicity and fun in an accessible package. From the first contact, it’s evident that the focus is on riding pleasure and user confidence, offering a balanced and dynamic experience.
With a design born at the Benelli Style Centre in Pesaro, the BKX’s aesthetics are marked by smooth and minimalist lines, but with modern details that give it a bold character. Highlights include the front headlights with distinctive light signatures, which share elements with the “S” road version, and direction indicators integrated into the hand guards – a rare premium feature in this category.

Two models, two approaches
Although sharing the same adventurous spirit, the BKX 125 and BKX 300 have distinct configurations to adapt to different types of riders. The BKX 125 uses a tubular trellis frame, while the BKX 300 combines the same format with a double lower structure. Both are equipped with fully adjustable 41mm inverted front suspensions, an impressive feature for bikes in this segment, allowing detailed customization of front-end behavior. At the rear, the adjustable monoshock is connected to the swingarm through a linkage system that improves response on varied terrain.
The 19″ front and 17″ rear spoked wheels (with minimal differences in tires between the two models) and 180mm suspension travel ensure the versatility needed to tackle everything from paved roads to challenging trails.
Power and efficiency for long distances
Both models are equipped with Euro 5+ liquid-cooled single-cylinder engines. The BKX 125 delivers a maximum power of 15 hp, ideal for A1 license holders, while the BKX 300 offers 29.2 hp, making it more robust for riders seeking more demanding adventures. Despite the power difference, efficient consumption allows for impressive range: up to 500 km for the BKX 125 and 375 km for the BKX 300, thanks to the 12-liter tank.
The braking system also reflects the power difference. The BKX 125 features a 240mm front disc, while the BKX 300 adopts a larger 280mm disc, both accompanied by four-piston radial calipers. At the rear, both versions use 240mm discs with single-piston calipers.

Lightness and comfort in focus
With ground clearances ranging between 229mm and 233mm and weights ranging from 148kg (BKX 125) to 155kg (BKX 300), both bikes offer a remarkable balance between robustness and maneuverability. The seat height, fixed at 830mm, ensures a comfortable and accessible position for most users.
The future of two-wheeled adventure
With the BKX 125 and BKX 300, Benelli presents an innovative solution for a new generation of riders, combining style, technology, and functionality. More than machines, these bikes are invitations to explore the world in freedom, in a perfect compromise between performance and accessibility. Adventure is now within everyone’s reach.
