With the new regulations announced for 2027, several pilots shared their opinion on this matter. Many rules will be changed, from the performance of the bikes to the data sharing among all MotoGP paddock pilots.
In statements to Speed Week, Francesco Bagnaia, the current MotoGP world champion, shared his opinion regarding the new rules that will come into effect from 2027.
– I simply would like to have the fastest bike. It is never fast enough, even though the bikes are already very fast. I just want a fast bike with which I can win. The only reason I like MotoGP is because I have a bike with which I can win. Winning is the biggest motivation. I also do not understand why some pilots say it is difficult to use the buttons or adjust the settings. We have to get used to it. For me, adjusting buttons during a race has become normal. It is part of the job. If we want to be fast, we have to do it. Maybe these guys are complaining because their bikes are not at the same level as ours. So, we have to eliminate some of these things so that we stop having that advantage. At the moment, all pilots are more or less at the same level.
