Johann Zarco is enjoying a good phase in the MotoGP season. After achieving the first top ten finish on a Honda in 2024, the LCR Honda rider placed 11th at yesterday’s Japanese GP in Motegi.
Despite not all Honda riders being at this level, improvements are noticeable, with Zarco now capable of fighting for more advanced positions.
The Frenchman noted that although there are still areas that need work, he is now able to deliver stronger performances than at the start of the season, which leaves him feeling satisfied:
– I’m happy, we moved up into a better group compared to the beginning of the year. We’re still missing acceleration, we are not using well the rear tyre in the right moment. I don’t know what the next steps to improve are going to be, but at least I can have some better races than at the beginning of the season.
