Aprilia has outlined its private testing plans for 2025 in preparation for MotoGP, with the manufacturer from Noale setting the three circuits that can use.
Massimo Rivola, Aprilia Racing’s CEO, shared with GPOne.com: ‘There are no plans to test at Mugello, even though it’s one of my favorite tracks. We will test at Jerez, Misano, and Barcelona, chosen for different reasons’.
This season, Aprilia remains in Tier C of the concessions system, which restricts testing to only three Grand Prix circuits and exclusively with test riders.
Additionally, there is a cap of 220 tires for testing purposes, and the team is permitted six wildcards throughout the season. Lorenzo Savadori continues as Aprilia’s test rider.
