After mentioning that the most up-to-date Ducatis have an advantage on some circuits, especially now that the riders who pilot them are more adapted to the bike, Álex Márquez did not fail to mention, however, that his brother and teammate, Marc, has an extra ability to be among the best.
Marc has practically been the only one capable of fighting with Jorge Martín, Pecco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini – the #93 finished third after the last round, precisely by “stealing” the place from Bastianini – and has three wins in the last four races.
Looking at what his brother did on Sunday of the San Marino GP, his qualities were evident, as he explained:
– I mean, there were four GP24s in front of us. It was just Marc. He managed to be there, doing a bit of juggling. But it’s not that difficult, what they say is that it depends on the track and it depends on the conditions.
Ducati precisely chose Marc Márquez for their factory team in 2025, stating that the reasons are related to the rider’s ability to adapt quickly to the bike and show himself to be very competitive.
