Nicolas Goyon, Team Manager of Red Bull KTM Tech3, commented on the misfortune that affected Enea Bastianini during the Argentina Grand Prix, preventing the Italian rider from fighting for a position more consistent with his expectations.
‘Enea was quite confident heading into the race, but unfortunately a contact with Raúl Fernández forced him to crash, and that was it,’ said Goyon, explaining the incident that compromised the Italian’s race.
Despite the setback, the Tech3 manager valued the rider’s attitude: ‘He didn’t give up, and finished the race to obtain more data for the future.’
‘I feel that we took some steps forward this weekend, and that’s what will help us reduce the gap to the leaders. Let’s pack everything up, and head to Texas for the next round in Austin!’ concluded Goyon, showing optimism about the team’s progress and already focusing on the next challenge of the calendar.
