The MotoGP Sprint race at the Italian GP didn’t last long for Fabio Quartararo and Miguel Oliveira. Just on the second lap, they both crashed, forcing them to retire.
It all happened at turn ten of the Mugello circuit, when the Portuguese rider from Trackhouse Racing was in 16th position right behind the Frenchman from Monster Energy Yamaha.
As Oliveira attempted to overtake his rival on the inside of the corner, he ended up unable to avoid contact, causing both riders to crash – a situation deemed a racing incident by the stewards.
The two riders even fell on top of each other, but neither of them seems to have suffered significant physical injuries as a result of this crash, which you can watch next.
