Miguel Oliveira had a difficult Friday at the Catalan MotoGP Grand Prix. The Trackhouse Racing rider couldn’t get into the fight for the top ten in the afternoon practice session, finishing 13th.
Throughout the session, he spent a lot of time in lower positions before a slight improvement at the end. The difficulties with the Aprilia RS-GP were evident, as he couldn’t find the ideal solutions to be competitive in Barcelona—unlike Aleix Espargaró (Aprilia), who was the fastest.
After the session, Oliveira had very little to say to the press. The usual debrief lasted about 20 seconds, with the Portuguese rider only stating:
– Practice was a little better at the end, but the feeling with the bike is very strange. I don’t know what is going on, it´s really difficult for me to pinpoint a couple of issues. But mainly we need a lot of stability and rear grip, so I’m looking forward to that tomorrow.
