A new special edition MV Agusta Brutale will be launched this weekend at the famous TT Assen circuit in the Netherlands.
Assen will host its annual GP Classic next weekend, from September 8 to 10, and MV Agusta announced earlier this year that it would be taking part in the event in celebration and recognition of its own success.
The Italian marque counts, among its numerous titles and victories at circuits across Europe, 35 World Championship wins at Assen during its time at the forefront of GP racing in the 1960s and 1970s.
In addition to its presence at the GP Classic, MV, which this year is also marking the 80th anniversary of its first motorcycle engine – the 98 – will be launching a new special edition bike.
The launch, anticipated by a post on social media, will take place on September 9, the second day of the next Classic GP, which takes place this weekend.
What is clear from the social media post is the series bike from which the new special edition will be derived, due to the hashtag “Brutale Assen” and a relatively revealing silhouette.
Earlier this year, the special edition MV Agusta Dragster SCS America was launched, but this new special edition will clearly be based on the MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR.
Details of the bike are not yet known, but we can expect them to be revealed with the bike itself on September 9th.
