The MotoGP test day at Misano is entering its final moments, with Maverick Viñales currently leading less than an hour before the checkered flag.
Just a few minutes ago, Viñales (Aprilia) took over the top spot on the timing sheets from Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati), being 0.126s faster than his rival. After being the fastest in the morning session, Luca Marini (Mooney VR46 Racing Team/Ducati) is now in third place. Álex Márquez (Gresini/Ducati) and Aleix Espargaró (Aprilia) round out the top five.
The lap times, in general, are faster than those recorded this morning. However, it’s important to note that the main focus of this test is not the lap time, as the riders and teams are already working towards the next season, introducing components to develop for 2024.
