Marco Bezzecchi is back to winning ways. The Mooney VR46 Racing Team rider dominated the main race of the MotoGP Indian GP on Sunday, leading almost from start to finish without any rivals who could keep up with him.
The Italian didn’t hide his satisfaction with this win, in a race where he wanted to react immediately to the setback he experienced yesterday in the sprint race:
– I’m very happy. It was a tough race, very long. But after yesterday, that unfortunately in the start I got hit by Luca [Marini] today I wanted to get my revenge and fortunately I started better. I was able to get on the lead quite early. And then I just tried to be focused, put my rhythm on. I felt all one with my bike, it was fantastic. And I enjoyed this country, this track, it’s amazing, so, thank you very much.
Finally, Bezzecchi took the opportunity to dedicate the win: ‘I want to dedicate this victory to a friend of mine who unfortunately passed away a couple of days ago. So, Filippo, this is for you’.
