With six rounds remaining in the MotoGP season, Jorge Martín is fully in the title race, just three points behind the leader Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati).
Despite the golden opportunity to win the championship, the Spaniard assured in a press conference that he will maintain the mindset of not thinking about the championship – emphasizing that his initial goal is almost guaranteed:
– This mentality is what brings me to this moment. But for sure we are so close in the battle. It’s almost a championship of six races. But I think my mentality will be the same: trying to win races, to be competitive. Because everything that comes will be good. I will try for sure to win it. But my target at the beginning of the season was to be in the top three and this is almost done. So, the rest will be good and hopefully we can keep the momentum and be the same competitive. I’ll try to win races.
