With three rounds to go in the MotoGP season, Francesco Bagnaia leads the championship with just a 13-point advantage over Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati). The room for error is virtually none in this titanic battle for the title, which naturally reflects in the pressure felt by the riders.
The Ducati rider admitted in a press conference that he can’t ignore the pressure but wants to use it to improve and fuel the desire to retain the title:
– I think it’s a pleasure to have this kind of pressure. We are fighting for the title and without pressure it means you don’t care too much about what you are doing. I think the pressure is normal, it’s a great fuel from my point of view, so we have to use it to improve on our side and to feel the hunger of being champion again.
