Pedro Acosta had his first day as a MotoGP rider on Tuesday at the Valencia test. However, the ending wasn’t what the Moto2 champion expected.
Close to the final half-hour, the young GasGas Tech3 rider lost control of his KTM and crashed. The incident, for which there are no replays, was minor and didn’t result in any serious consequences.
Although he didn’t return to the track after the crash, Acosta held onto the 18th position on the timing charts at the time, more than a second behind the leader, Maverick Viñales (Aprilia).
