Luca Marini’s adaptation to the Honda RC213V started this Tuesday on the testing day in Valencia. The rider secured a place in the top ten, emerging as the strongest among the four riders representing the Japanese constructor.
Throughout the day, the Italian completed 72 laps, his best timed at 1m29.956s. He trailed Maverick Viñales’ (Aprilia) leading time by 0.703s. His Repsol Honda teammate, Joan Mir, finished 13th, being 0.093s slower.
Johann Zarco and Takaaki Nakagami from the Honda LCR satellite team placed 17th and 21st, respectively. Naturally, the lap times in testing must be considered cautiously, given the focus on working on various updates on the bikes for development toward 2024.
