Jordi Torres’s continuity with the Openbank Aspar Team in MotoE has been confirmed. The champion of 2020 and 2021 was once again in contention for the title this year, securing a total of two wins and six podiums.
At 36 years old, the Spaniard is one of the most experienced riders in the electric bikes championship – he only missed the inaugural season in 2019. He quickly became one of the prominent figures in the field, consistently battling at the top, and this year finished in second place.
In a press release, Torres said: ‘It has been a year full of emotions, in which we have worked together as a great team to be MotoE runner-ups. The Openbank AsparTeam is already a second family for me, and in 2024 we will continue fighting together for the title’.
