The 2024 season will be about familiarizing with the MotoGP landscape for Trackhouse Racing. In a recent interview, Aprilia Racing’s CEO, Massimo Rivola, talked about the project for the upcoming year.
The Italian stated on the Mister Helmet podcast that the team’s satellite debut year will have modest expectations: ‘The new season will be about knowing MotoGP. Later, we’ll talk about podiums and victories’.
Regarding the bikes for Miguel Oliveira and Raúl Fernández, Rivola clarified: ‘It’ll be a challenge to provide both riders with new bikes. However, Miguel will have a 2024 bike at the beginning of the season’.
Moreover, the Aprilia executive explained that Trackhouse Racing is still seeking financial support to ensure that ‘the team doesn’t have a tight budget. They presented us with a fantastic project’.
Rivola confirmed that the North American team will retain the staff from RNF and mentioned a particular ‘thrill’ associated with being a new squad.
