Marc Márquez only has a one-year contract with Gresini in MotoGP, meaning he will be a free agent for the following year. KTM might also have an opening in their lineup, as Jack Miller is in his final year of contract. Could the Spaniard be a potential future candidate for the Mattighofen manufacturer?
Former rider Marc Coma, who remains connected to KTM, was asked about this possibility. Quoted by Marca, he wished luck to Márquez and acknowledged his determination, stating that it’s premature to analyze what might happen in the rider market:
– First of all, I wish the best to Marc because he’s had two very complicated years and he has all my admiration for maintaining that will to fight after having won everything. First and foremost, I wish the best for him because he deserves it. From there, the future can change a 1,000 times. I think until midway through next season, we won’t be able to know many things about this.
