Axel Bassani has a challenging mission in the 2024 Superbike World Championship season. This year, he will be a factory rider for the first time, and he will immediately replace Jonathan Rea at Kawasaki—a rider who has been a prominent figure for the manufacturer with six world titles.
In a few weeks, on February 8, the official presentation will take place, and the newly arrived Italian rider admitted that it will be a special day. Meanwhile, he is working hard for this project:
– I am very happy to take part in my first team launch inside a factory team. I think it will be a special moment or me, my family and all the guys who have helped me every day to do this job.
