Enea Bastianini will once again compete in the MotoGP season with the Ducati factory team in 2024. After facing many physical challenges last year, he is now recovered and excited for the upcoming season.
In a press conference after Ducati’s presentation, the rider stated: ‘2023 was so complicated. During the winter I’ve worked a lot, from the day before the Valencia test. And it was important to me close the gap physically, because my condition was so difficult. Now I can be at 100% because the main problem has been always the shoulder, but now it’s OK. Also when I try with the motor bike is perfect. And I’m really happy about this because it was critical, especially at the end of the season I was really tired and I suffered a lot during the 2023 season. Let’s start the new one’.
Regarding the new Desmosedici GP24, Bastianini assured that he already has better feelings than with the previous year’s version: ‘The 2024 bike is good. It’s fast and also the first impact has been better compared to the 2023 bike. We haven’t try all the solutions because we also have to try something during the Sepang test. Pecco [Bagnaia] also tested something different compared to me and he’s happy. I think in Sepang it will be much easier compared to 2023 because it was complicated at the start’.
