Marc Márquez achieved the sixth best time during the MotoGP tests held this week in Sepang. The Gresini rider started with a first day marked by technical issues, but made gradual progress until the end.
Still adapting to the Ducati, the Spanish rider considers the path ahead to be long and continues to not feel natural or intuitive in riding the Desmosedici GP.
Nevertheless, Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati) believes that Márquez could fight for the win as early as the first GP: ‘He is where I expected. He will be really close and maybe fighting for the victory in Qatar’.
