Phillip Island hosts the opening round of the Superbike World Championship, and two days of official testing were planned just a few days before. However, the schedule has been changed, and each class – WSBK and WSSP – will only have one day of testing each.
According to the website WorldSBK.com, permanent Supersport riders will be able to test on Monday, February 19th. Superbike riders, on the other hand, will test one day later, on February 20th.
The format was revised due to logistical issues. Nevertheless, the riders will be able to finalize their preparations before the start of the season, as well as have their first contact with the new asphalt at the Australian Phillip Island circuit.
