Franco Morbidelli suffered a serious crash while training in Portimão at the end of January. Despite not sustaining any fractures, examinations revealed a small blood clot in his brain, which caused him to miss the pre-season tests.
The Qatar GP is the first race of the championship, from March 8 to 10. At this point, the Prima Pramac rider still does not have confirmation of his participation, as he told the press this Wednesday:
– I have to wait. Most likely, I will do it. Medicine says that after an injury like this, you have to wait at least a month, not less – stay away from dangerous sports and live in a certain way for a month. Let’s see if, according to the doctors, I have recovered as much as I should have in a month.
