Enea Bastianini has been one of the strongest riders in this early MotoGP season. The Ducati rider has yet to miss the top five in a main race, and ahead of the French Grand Prix, he sits third in the championship, 22 points behind the leader, Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati).
The Italian began by stating in a press release: ‘I’m happy to be back at Le Mans, where I couldn’t race last year due to injury. It’s definitely a friendly track since I managed to get a win there in 2022’.
Confident with the solutions found in Jerez, Bastianini now wants to return to fighting for podiums – something he couldn’t achieve in the last round:
– After the Jerez test, I came home happy and satisfied: I am confident that what we tried will help us both here and in the next races. I can’t wait to get on track with the goal of getting back into the fight for the podium.
