Reigning world champion Jorge Martín is about to return to the MotoGP tracks. The official tests in Sepang next week will mark his second outing with the Aprilia RS-GP.
The Spaniard emphasized the importance of the work to be done in Malaysia: ‘I’m really looking forward to the tests. They will be crucial to gather as much information as possible for the future and to set the course for this season’.
Martín’s motivation is at an all-time high, as he himself pointed out: ‘I’m really motivated to finally start this new challenge together with Aprilia Racing after these two months of winter break’.
Now wearing the #1 on his bike’s fairings, the 2024 champion will have to adapt to both a new team and a new machine – an adjustment process that will take time. While he may not be an immediate title contender, he will undoubtedly be a strong presence in the fight for top positions in the races.
