The MotoGP world is abuzz, eager to see what Jorge Martín can achieve in 2025 now that he’s riding the Aprilia RS-GP. In this context, we recall some of the initial reactions from the world champion, who immediately made a brief comparison with the Ducati—giving a point in favor of the Aprilia.
In a video shared on the official social media channels of the championship, the Spaniard can be seen smiling as he comes off the track for the first time with the RS-GP. With a smile, he remarked: ‘It was good! Good! The front end was incredible. It has much more grip than the Ducati, for sure.’
While the initial impressions were positive, there is naturally room for improvement, as Martín himself explained: ‘Guys, the bike works really well. Just [adjust] a few small things.’
The Spaniard further explained that although ‘he couldn’t say much about the bike,’ his expression spoke volumes: ‘Everyone there could see it.’ Later, Martín also added that front-end grip is an area for improvement, which fuels excitement to see the advancements Aprilia can bring over the winter.
