This week, Ducati officially unveiled its MotoGP team during the broader Campioni in Pista event. Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Márquez had their first major engagement as teammates.
In an interview on the manufacturer’s official YouTube channel, the Italian explained that it was an opportunity to get to know the eight-time world champion better:
– Having Marc here for the first time is a bit different, because we were with Enea [Bastianini] for the the past two seasons, and it’s the first time that we have the chance to meet more and get to know each other a bit better.
According to Bagnaia, competition wasn’t a major topic in his conversations with Márquez over the past few days: ‘Honestly, these days we just talked about our lives, more than about the sporting life. I think it’s the normal routine of getting to know each other better’.
