Valentino Rossi will compete in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) this year but has additional motorsport commitments in 2025. The first of these will take place next week at the iconic Bathurst 12 Hours.
Il Dottore will drive a BMW M4 GT3 Evo for Team WRT, partnered with Charles Weertz and Raffaele Marciello. This marks Rossi’s third participation in the Australian race, following appearances in 2023 and 2024. The event is scheduled from January 30 to February 2.
In his debut in 2023, Rossi secured a sixth-place finish alongside Augusto Farfus and Maxime Martin. Last year, teaming up with Marciello and Martin, he achieved a fifth-place finish, just under six seconds behind the winners.
Now, the legendary MotoGP rider will have another opportunity to improve his performance, aiming for a podium finish before tackling the WEC. There, he will compete in the LMGT3 class with teammates Ahmad Al Harthy and Kelvin van der Linde.
