Aprilia has set high ambitions for the 2025 MotoGP season with the arrival of Jorge Martín. However, the team is fully aware of the responsibility this entails and the time needed to develop the project.
Massimo Rivola, Aprilia’s CEO, told GPOne.com that the only way to approach the new season is with great ambition: ‘We have to be ambitious. I say this because we have the world champion with us and also because of what Aprilia’s history represents’.
That said, the Italian acknowledged the need for time and emphasized the importance of quickly navigating the initial adaptation phase: ‘A new era begins, and like all beginnings, it takes time. The faster we get through the initial phase, the higher we can aim’.
Currently, according to Rivola, everything is progressing well: ‘From what we saw in the first test, the feedback was positive, although Barcelona is a friendly track. Let’s say that, for now, we are in a honeymoon phase where everything is going well’.
