Aprilia Racing will have a completely new factory team after Aleix Espargaró’s farewell to MotoGP (as a full-time rider) and Maverick Viñales’ departure for KTM Tech3. Jorge Martín and Marco Bezzecchi inherited their places and wasted no time in making a good impression.
Lorenzo Savadori, the brand’s test rider, was quoted by GPOne and had already spoken about his first impression of both riders, saying that Bezzecchi ‘is a pure talent, very fast, while Jorge is the defending champion’, but the praise didn’t stop there.
In the #32’s opinion, and looking at a first glimpse of how they both work, there were two details that stood out: on the new world champion’s side, his leadership posture, and on the #72’s, the careful and detailed way he looks at everything:
– I appreciated Martín’s approach, already very much a leader, while Bez showed himself to be very meticulous and attentive to detail. I’m very happy to have them on the team.
At a time when the MotoGP teams are introducing themselves, in an intense January, Aprilia has already presented itself to its fans, being so far one of the two factory teams to do so, as today the Ducati Lenovo Team also showed its new colors and bike for 2025.
