Royal Enfield has been riding an impressive wave of success, tripling its sales in just a decade. In 2024, the brand reached 944,000 motorcycles sold, a 4.7% increase compared to the previous year, cementing its position as the tenth largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world.
This growth is largely due to the global appeal of its retro-styled motorcycles at affordable prices. Models like the Shotgun 650, with its powerful twin-cylinder engine and classic design, and the Guerrilla 450, surprisingly agile on technical circuits, are proof of the brand’s ability to combine simplicity with performance.
Royal Enfield’s success isn’t confined to India, its main market. Other regions have also contributed significantly, with Latin America and Brazil recording increases of 14%, Southeast Asia 7.3%, and Western Europe 3.1%.
In 2015, the company sold just over 300,000 units per year. In less than 10 years, it managed to triple that number, now nearing the milestone of one million motorcycles sold by 2025.
Although renowned for its vintage-inspired models, Royal Enfield is also investing in the future with innovative technologies and electric vehicles, such as the Flying Flea, developed in partnership with Qualcomm. If 2024 is any indication, the brand shows no signs of slowing down, continuing to conquer new markets and expand its legacy.
