Tosha Schareina experienced a frightening moment early in the ninth stage of Dakar 2025, suffering a scary crash just 20 kilometers into the stage.
The Monster Energy Honda rider managed to continue the race despite sustaining some shoulder pain and minimized his time loss by finishing with the seventh-fastest time.
Even so, Schareina lost additional ground to the overall leader, Daniel Sanders. He remains in second place but is now 14m45s behind the Red Bull KTM rider.
