This year, Jack Miller will race for Prima Pramac Yamaha in MotoGP. The Australian rider almost lost his spot in the grid after Red Bull KTM chose not to renew his contract, but he fought back and is determined to show that he still has more to offer.
He explained to Crash.net that, after a long period where his future in the premier class was at serious risk, he is eager to make the most of the opportunity that has come his way with Pramac Yamaha:
– We were pushing hard to try and stay [in MotoGP] and, like I said, it was not looking great for a long time there. But fortunately for us, we’ve got that opportunity and I’m super motivated, super keen to grasp it with both hands and try and make it into something great.
For Miller, this chapter of his career represents a fresh start: ‘I feel like I’ve still got a lot more to give to the sport. I feel like I haven’t yet reached my full potential and this opportunity is a chance to reset and almost try and rebuild again’.
