Stage 4 of the Dakar 2025 is nearing its conclusion, and Tosha Schareina is setting the pace at the penultimate waypoint with recorded timing. The fight for the victory is with Daniel Sanders.
In the early stages, Australian rider from Red Bull KTM and Mason Klein (Kove) battled for the lead, with the American holding the top spot up to KP192. However, he began to lose momentum from that point onwards, and Schareina of Monster Energy Honda took charge. The Spaniard is currently 3m02s ahead of Sanders at KP346.
Rui Gonçalves (Sherco) occupies third place, aiming to continue a strong run for the manufacturer after Lorenzo Santolino’s stage 3 victory yesterday. José Ignacio Cornejo (Hero) sits in fourth, followed by teammate Ross Branch, with Adrien van Beveren (Monster Energy Honda) in sixth at KP346.
Skyler Howes (Monster Energy Honda) started the stage close to the overall lead. However, the American is ninth at this waypoint, losing nearly ten minutes to Sanders.
