The MotoGP season appears to be secured for KTM in 2025, despite ongoing uncertainty surrounding KTM AG’s financial situation.
Carlo Pernat, manager of Enea Bastianini – who will race for KTM Tech3 – shared some insights during an interview with La Repubblica, emphasizing that logistical preparations are already underway:
– Something like this has never happened to me before. I simply received a call from Hervé Poncharal, the Tech3 team owner, confirming they had already purchased plane tickets for all the year’s trips.
Should KTM decide to withdraw, four bikes would be lost from the grid – a scenario Pernat underscored as highly undesirable for Dorna Sports: ‘Carmelo Ezpeleta, the owner of Dorna, can’t afford to lose four bikes two months after the first race. We are going to compete, at least for now’.
