Following Ducati, Aprilia has announced its launch date for the 2025 MotoGP season. The event is scheduled for January 16 at 12h00 AM (CET time).
At this stage, no further details have been disclosed. However, it is certain that Aprilia is entering a new chapter in its MotoGP journey with an all-new rider lineup: 2024 champion Jorge Martín and Marco Bezzecchi.
There are also structural changes within Aprilia, with Romano Albesiano’s departure and Fabiano Sterlacchini’s arrival as technical director. However, his influence on the initial 2025 RS-GP version will likely be limited, as the transition only occurred late this year.
The team launch will not only unveil the new bike and its colors but also settle a key question: Will Martín race with the #1 or retain his usual #89, as suggested by the provisional entry list?
