In 2025, Yamaha will once again have a satellite team in MotoGP – Prima Pramac, which has achieved historic rider and team titles over the last two years.
This way, the Iwata manufacturer not only has a competent partner, but also the possibility of having more bikes on track and rider feedback – something vital in development, as the YZR-M1 is still one of the least competitive bikes on the grid.
Fabio Quartararo is excited about the arrival of Prima Pramac. In an interview with Motorcycle News, the Frenchman emphasized the importance of this step for Yamaha and for himself personally:
– If we look at Ducati, for example, they have made a big step forward thanks to the collaboration with Pramac. And to be able to compare our four riders, to see for example who among me, Álex [Rins], Jack [Miller] or Miguel [Oliveira] does better in a corner than the others and so on, I think it will be very important not only for the team, but also for me.
