Raúl Fernández will become Aprilia’s most experienced rider in 2025 and that is exactly why the manufacturer has high expectations for him, as Massimo Rivola revealed.
The CEO of the Noale manufacturer spoke about the Spaniard, quoted by the championship’s official website, about what he expects from #25, who races in the colors of Trackhouse Racing: ‘We expect a lot from Raúl. In 2024, we already had high expectations. But he had the bike change during the season, and so he didn’t really feel confident on that [2024] one.’
Rivola also recalled an important absence, and showed his confidence for the future, at the same time making it clear that it is up to Aprilia to offer the rider a good RS-GP:
– And let’s not forget that he failed the Sepang test at the beginning [due to injury]. I think Raul can perform well and obviously it’s up to us to give him a good bike.
