Enea Bastianini had his first experience with the KTM RC16 of the Tech3 team during the MotoGP test in Barcelona this past November. His manager, Carlo Pernat, shared the rider’s impressions of the new bike.
Speaking to Motori Online, the agent commented: ‘Aside from the crash, Enea’s test went well. By contract, he cannot speak until 2025, but he was very happy. He told me the bike is a pleasure to ride and that he feels great on it’.
The next test is scheduled for February in Sepang, and according to Pernat, Bastianini is eager to continue the adaptation. The manager also highlighted key strengths within the team:
– The strength of that team will be Pigiamino [Alberto Giribuola, Bastianini’s crew chief] and [José] Manuel Cazeaux [Maverick Viñales’ crew chief]. Both come from Ducati, and I believe that with them, the team can achieve some great results.
