Ducati is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its iconic Multistrada with an ambitious 60,000 km European Tour across six countries, featuring 30 riders sharing a single motorcycle: the Multistrada V4 Rally. The Iberian stage, which began yesterday, November 11th, and runs until December 14th, will see five riders covering 2,000 km through the stunning landscapes of Spain and Portugal, before heading back to Italy for the grand finale.
This initiative, which has already passed through France, the United Kingdom, Poland, and Austria, highlights not only the durability and performance of the Multistrada but also the spirit of adventure and camaraderie that unites motorcycle enthusiasts.
From Barcelona to Lisbon: A Unique Experience
The Iberian leg kicks off in Barcelona and promises a journey through some of the most breathtaking routes on the peninsula. Four of the five riders for this stage were selected through a competition that received over 180 applications, reflecting the enthusiasm and passion the Multistrada inspires in the motorcycling community.
Joining this group is content creator Laura Ventayol, better known as Lau Ride on social media, where she boasts over 340,000 Instagram followers. A devoted Ducati fan, Lau will take the reins of the Multistrada between Lisbon and Madrid, sharing her journey on digital platforms and bringing the excitement of the tour even closer to fans.
An Icon of Innovation and Performance
The 20th anniversary of the Multistrada is also a showcase of the technical and engineering excellence behind this machine. The Multistrada V4 Rally, powered by the robust V4 Granturismo engine, can clock up an impressive 60,000 km without requiring valve maintenance. With 170 hp and a smooth, linear response at any speed, the motorcycle is designed to deliver an exhilarating yet comfortable ride, regardless of terrain or distance.
Follow the Journey
For enthusiasts unable to participate in person, Ducati has created a dedicated website for the Multistrada 60,000 km European Tour, where each rider shares stories and images from their journey, allowing the public to experience the adventure virtually.
This project is more than a technical celebration; it’s an ode to the spirit of freedom and exploration that defines motorcyclists. Blending refined Italian design, advanced technology, and the passion Ducati is known for, the Multistrada European Tour is a tribute to 20 years of a model that redefined the concept of long-distance motorcycle travel.
From winding roads to breathtaking landscapes, the Iberian stage promises unforgettable moments that will continue to shape the legacy of the Multistrada and Ducati’s position as a benchmark in the world of adventure motorcycles.
