Red Bull KTM saw their riders Brad Binder and Jack Miller involved in a frightening crash at the first corner of the MotoGP Malaysian GP. Francesco Guidotti, team director, confirmed that both came out relatively unscathed.
The Italian told the championship’s official website: ‘Luckly, no one is injured. Everything is fine. Jack went to the medical center for further checks, but he’s fine, he has no pain anywhere. It was very bad to see, but luckly no one got injured’.
As for Binder, according to Guidotti, the rider still wanted to restart the race after the red flag, but the pain did not allow him to and he may undergo further examinations:
– Brad tried to start for the second start, but the pain in his left shoulder didn’t allow him to go – it would be unsafe for himself and for the others. Tomorrow he might go to check the shoulder if he still has pain. Let’s see.
