Pedro Acosta arrives at the MotoGP Malaysia GP days after returning to the podiums. Sepang is one of the circuits where he has ridden in the premier class.
Last February, the Red Bull GasGas Tech3 rider spent six days on the Malaysian track—first during the shakedown and then at the official test. For this reason, the rookie believes that this round could be easier:
– It should be easier, like Misano 2. In the end, we have a lot of info, especially here since I did a lot of laps because I think I was the only one riding the six days. It should be better. Now the tyres are different, so let’s see how it’s going to be.
Regarding the differences in the bike, Acosta noted that there have been improvements since February: ‘It’s quite different, but the bike is clearly better. So, we need to be calm and know that everything should be okay’.
