The Spanish brand Cecotec, well-known for its home solutions, is now expanding into the electric motorcycle market. The company, which has already stood out with high-quality electric scooters at competitive prices, is betting on a range of electric scooters adapted to urban mobility, maintaining its philosophy of affordable prices and good performance.
With the expansion of the electric motorcycle sector, which saw its sales stabilize in 2024, Cecotec joins a growing market, especially focused on the needs of sustainable mobility in cities. The brand has presented a diverse line of electric scooters that includes both mopeds for short urban journeys and more powerful models for those seeking driving with greater autonomy and performance.
Electric moped models
Cecotec’s initial line includes three electric mopeds: Skull, Piazza, and Shark. These models are ideal for urban mobility, offering a top speed of 45 km/h and allowing driving with a category B or A1 license. All have DGT homologation, ensuring their compliance with traffic regulations in Spain.
The Skull model is the most compact and has a 1,200W motor, guaranteeing a range of up to 60 km with a single battery. The Piazza, with 1,440W, and the Shark, with 3,600W, allow for the addition of a second battery, which can increase the range to over 100 km, making them ideal for longer and more frequent urban journeys.

Higher-powered electric scooters
For those seeking higher performance, Cecotec offers the Vulcano, Shark RS, and Halo models, with power similar to a 125cc scooter. The Vulcano is the top of the range, equipped with a 6,000W motor and a maximum power of 17,000W, reaching speeds of up to 120 km/h. This model features a robust and urban design, with advanced components such as combined braking, inverted suspension, and dual rear shock absorber. With three driving modes – Eco, Normal, and Sport – the Vulcano allows for an impressive range of up to 160 km.
The Shark RS, more sporty, comes with a 3,000W motor and a dual battery that achieves a range of 110 km and a top speed of 80 km/h. The Halo, a compact and lightweight model, reaches a nominal power of 7,550W, with a maximum power of 10,000W, allowing it to reach 100 km/h and a range of 130 km, thanks to its two batteries.
Competitive and affordable prices
Cecotec remains true to its philosophy of competitive pricing in this new range of vehicles. The most affordable moped, the Skull, is available for just 999 euros, while the most advanced model in the range, the Cecotec Shark, costs 4,999 euros, positioning itself as an attractive option for those who want urban electric mobility at an affordable price.
