The MotoGP caravan is heading to Malaysia and Raúl Fernández is confident and believes that Sepang could be a positive place for him and the team, not forgetting how the Asian rounds served to ‘find many positive points’.
In a preview statement for the upcoming GP, this weekend, the Spaniard began by recalling the Asian phase in general terms: ‘We are going to get to the end of this triple header after Australia and Thailand now and I think we found a lot of positives during these weekends’.
Fernández still regretted the way not everything went well in Thailand: ‘It was just a shame to finish Buriram like we did – but over the rest of the weekend, we have been working very well and gathered a lot of important information’.
But he showed confidence in improving in Malaysia:
– I think Sepang can be a good track for us. I couldn’t do the test there at the beginning of the season because I was injured, but I always enjoy riding in Sepang, so I hope we can continue to improve and find more positives.
