Focused and ready to attack the Malaysian GP. This is the state of mind in which Aleix Espargaró is preparing to tackle Sepang, a circuit he says is difficult and where the weather conditions often play an important role.
The Aprilia rider, who is two rounds away from saying goodbye to his career as a full-time rider, previewed the next round of the MotoGP world championship in this way:
– Sepang is a track we’ve ridden a lot, considering the winter tests. It’s a difficult track, where the heat plays a key role. As this is the last race of the Asian tour, we’re very motivated. We hope to have a good race before returning to Europe for the last Grand Prix of the season.
Espargaró, it’s worth remembering, will become a Honda test rider after the Valencia GP.
