Marc Márquez had a difficult start at the MotoGP Australian GP after a tear-off visor strip got stuck in his rear wheel. Despite this setback, the Gresini rider quickly recovered, moving from outside the top ten to eventually take the win.
Álex Márquez acknowledged that he might have played a role in his brother’s resurgence: ‘I think that with the contact between me and Jack [Miller], he found some door there. Something happened, because in the second lap he was already seventh’.
In Álex’s view, this was one of Marc’s strongest performances, highlighting one of the eight-time world champion’s unique abilities:
– Yeah, it was one of his best races. He was able – he has that ability – that when he make some mistake or something, to reprogram his head really fast and go forward.
