After several months of uncertainty, Scott Redding has finally been confirmed for the 2025 World Superbike season. He will remain with the same team, which will be renamed MGM Bonovo Team and will have Michael Galinski as its owner.
In this new beginning, the British rider will be the only one in the team in 2025, and he will also return to riding a Ducati Panigale V4 R, just as he did in 2020 and 2021 when he was part of the official team for the manufacturer from Borgo Panigale.
Quoted on the official championship website, Redding expressed regret over the end of the partnership with BMW, but also highlighted that he approaches the new challenge at MGM Bonovo with motivation:
– I have ended my collaboration with BMW at the end of the 2024 season, which I expressly regret. My team is dealing with the resulting consequences […]. The course has been set for the 2025 season. I am very happy to continue racing with MGM Bonovo in World Superbike and will approach this project with great motivation
